Six security tools,
built around your Mac.

We're building PhantomSecure for Apple silicon Macs running macOS 27 or later. Nothing is available to download yet, and the capabilities below remain development targets unless we say otherwise.

Watch Protect Vault Wipe Guardian Agent
The Eyes In development

PhantomWatch

PhantomWatch will give you a read-only view of your Mac's network activity. The background Agent will gather available connection details through Apple's Network Extension, and the main app will turn them into a searchable dashboard.

  • Planned per-app connection and socket details
  • Approximate geographic connection map
  • Read-only monitoring that does not block traffic
  • Optional product telemetry off by default, with a separate opt-in

The Shield In development

PhantomProtect

PhantomProtect will handle live network and file protection. The background Agent will make local threat decisions and apply DNS filtering; the main app is where you'll choose settings and review what happened.

  • On-device connection and domain evaluation
  • Local DNS filtering using downloaded threat intelligence
  • Planned YARA-X scanning for supported files
  • Planned activity profiles for different workflows

The Fortress In development

PhantomVault

PhantomVault is being developed to protect Vault contents with AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption, which is considered resistant to known quantum attacks. Optional Dual-Key Protection uses NIST-standardized ML-KEM-1024, part of post-quantum cryptography, to add a second lock around the random Vault key.

  • Argon2id passphrase protection in every mode
  • Keep the second key tied to one Mac or your Apple account
  • Finder-mounted Vaults planned for macOS 27
  • Decoy Vaults planned for launch and gated on plausible-deniability testing

The Eraser In development

PhantomWipe

PhantomWipe is being developed to make secure deletion easier to understand. It will choose from supported deletion methods, report what was attempted, and explain limits imposed by APFS, SSD controllers, snapshots, and backups.

  • Verified overwrite workflows where the storage path supports them
  • TRIM-aware guidance for modern SSDs
  • Clear warnings when targeted overwrite cannot prove physical erasure
  • Outcome reports that record the requested method and result

The Mind In development

PhantomGuardian

PhantomGuardian will explain security events in plain language using on-device processing. Guardian will help you understand an event, while the background Agent remains responsible for live protection.

  • Planned use of macOS 27 Foundation Models where supported
  • Local classification of security questions and events
  • Choose the explanation style that works for you
  • Optional telemetry off by default and sent only after a separate opt-in

PhantomSentinel
Formal, concise explanations with a security-first tone.
SPECTRE
Investigative. Explains how an attack works, so you learn.
AURA
Encouraging. Everyday analogies for non-technical users.
Nyx
The stealth operative. Silent unless something is critical.
Additional Style
A fifth explanation style is planned for a future development build.

The Core In development

PhantomAgent

PhantomAgent is the menu-bar app that will run live protection in the background. Selected defenses will keep working when you close the main dashboard, subject to macOS permissions and system availability.

  • Background runtime for live protection modules
  • Planned Liquid Glass menu-bar controls for macOS 27
  • Quick status and module actions without opening the main app
